Emerald Path

11x7 in oil painting on canvas panel.

This painting was done en plein air. I wanted to focus on the subtle color shifts that happen when painting things like grass. I really like the soft purples in  this piece. I did this painting last yer and wanted to try it again to see how much I improved. over all I think this  time it turned out much better!
